whew. back from New York City.
shot out to everyone who made the trip so freaking fantastic (Divestar, Audrey, Bidi, Giulia, Vince, Laura, Steve, and everyone that I didn't get a chance to see).

Monday was the day I bought Girls Can Tell, finally. It was also the day Pitchfork ran an interview with Britt Daniel. If that's not weird enough, the first half of the interview takes place at Kim's, which I had been in the day before to buy the Out Hud record.

Also, in the song "Further Seems Forever" from Stellastarr*, I swear to god the lead singer is the bastard child of Robert Smith and Jeff Buckley. so much.

now back to school... don't worry. i will type up an official report, including features on Surefire and the Walkmen, who were both amazing. i'll do that this weekend... bye for now.
