Site is back up for now.

Fresh from Prosaics:

* prosaics did a photo shoot with Mick Rock for the New York Times Magazine, featuring clothing by Hedi Slimane for Dior Homme. on newsstands sunday, september 7th.

First the Strokes, then Interpol, now Prosaics. AND THEY DON'T HAVE ANY RECORDED MATERIAL OUT AT ALL. They're that good. (...hopefully) Their debut EP is finished recording, should be out soon.

On a separate note, you gotta love The Rapture's "Killing". It's sounds so much like a Neptunes beat, except it's an actual rock band. God bless the DFA. When the bass line starts hitting on every beat and he screams "1 2 3 4 KICK THAT *UCKER OUT THE DOOR!", it's gold, baby. Gold. I recommend picking up a copy of that single, which is split with The Juan Maclean's exceptional "Give Me Every Little Thing" (which, I may add, is available for purchase IN MINNEAPOLIS).

Listening: Echoes, The Rapture; "Cause = Time", Broken Social Scene; "Baby Boy", Beyonce ft. Sean Paul
