I have no idea when people check this website, and I have no idea if I'm going to have time to write the reviews I want to. To tide you over:
The new !!! album has leaked. Rejoice. Said the Gramophone and Hang the DJ both have tracks from it for you to download. Quite frankly, I don't understand why !!! has so many detractors. They fucking own. Bass lines, chanting, super delayed guitars, horns, fuckin' a. And they're the only band that make "punk-funk", the Brits' term for dance-punk, a valid one.
Yesterday I was lucky enough to encounter a Unicorns bootleg. Fuckin' a. Listen to "The Clap", with, of course, included covers of Kylie and Fiddy Cent.
