SHE'S GOING STEADY

Steve Lam gave me a birthday present which you can all share: download "Going Steady", the b-side to Death From Above 1979's new single, "Blood On Our Hands" (which I suggest seeking out if you can; it's amazing). I would write more about this band but I don't want this turning into a fan site. Just listen.

Pitchfork interviews The Walkmen

Pete Doherty in court. Kid cleans up well! Not. News from NME, too.

Franz Ferdinand had to remove a b-side from the "Michael" single, so they put it up for download. Franz Ferdinand - "Tell Her Tonight (Paul Sings)"

Stream the new Bjork album, Medulla, here.

From CatbirdSeat: Self-Starter has some great mp3s up for download; get them while you can.
Also, StarTime posted an Ambulance Ltd. non-album track for download: "Country Gentleman".

Interpol has a new website up for the forthcoming Antics. It's really poorly redesigned. Hopefully they'll fix it. Does anyone remember the pre-Turn on the Bright Lights Interpol website? I really dug that.

T-Mobile sucks, apparently.
