This post would have existed Friday if Blogger hadn't eaten it.
Indie-chanteuses Tegan & Sara make a playlist for the Times. They like the Arcade Fire and the Futureheads. And I like them. Post tomorrow.
Further Times reading: the Postal Service/US Postal Service deal; the Shortlist Music Prize; more on the iPod and how we listen; live reviews of Deerhoof and Le Tigre; Animal Collective, Devendra Banhart, Futureheads, Oneida, Kanye West in the rock/pop listings.
The Libertines to go off the road at the end of the year. Is this the end?
Death From Above 1979 details on UK release.
Mediaeater has new photos up of Moving Units, Secret Machines, Interpol, and more.
The Modern Age likes music again - The Futureheads. We really like them too (if you couldn't tell). Ask me if you want to learn "Decent Days and Nights" on guitar. Unfortunately, I will be seeing the Pixies instead of the Futureheads when they come back to MPLS.
Black Dice cancel the rest of their tour; Animal Collective ventures on anyway.
