SUNDAY ROUND-UP

Last night I watched Saturday Night Live for the first time in a long time. Luckily, Jason Bateman of Arrested Development, one of my favorite shows, was hosting. The chemistry between him and Amy Poehler (who is married to the actor who plays Bateman's brother on the show) was hilarious. I was also psyched to see "Since U Been Gone" live, but it pretty much fell flat without multitracked Kelly Clarksons and top-notch production.

Not much in the way of links this week. Damn you NME.

The Raveonettes' next album is titled Pretty in Black, with lead single "Love In A Trashcan". You can download the song now from iTunes. The duo will be heading out on tour with Autolux supporting. More info, tracklisting, and tour dates here.

Flaming Lips documentary.

NY Times goes over the 80s revival, and why it's not making any money. The drummer from Semisonic describes the Grammys from behind the scenes; very interesting. A night out with Maroon 5.

I will most likely not be watching the Grammys tonite, primarily because they're meaningless.
