ROUND-UP: SWEDES KNOW THEIR DRUGS

Pills of Sweden: VICE interviews Sweden's fantastic psych-rockers Dungen... about their drugs. Choice quote: "I have just been eating these for two years now for the studies. It's great to study on this. Do you want one? You should have one! You will get filled of lust!" I guess you've got to know your shit if you're in a psych-rock band.

I have over 20 people registered, but only 2 people who actually completed the offer correctly for my free iPod Shuffle. I only need one more, people. You have to do the eFax offer, wait to get credit, then cancel the account, no charge.

Kings of Leon get the big media push from RCA. Their show at the Fine Line on Saturday was sold out. You can see the video for "The Bucket" in iTunes; it's sort of interesting. The song is sort of good. Their hair is sort of better than the last album.

Beck gets a huge feature in the Times' magazine.

The Fake ID war. That New Jersey comment isn't totally true.

A look at Axl Rose and Chinese Democracy.

On I Love Music: Who is your biggest musical crush? Someone really digs the guy from Mouse on Mars, and a few other weird ones... Also, 2004 vs. 2005. I personally think that both were/are great music years, but I think a lot of records on '04 were underrated.

Sasha Frere-Jones on ringtones. I haven't read this yet.

M.I.A. confirms release date on XL Records, but Interscope will still be involved..

Garbage on tour. That might be kind of cool to see them at the Metro.

Muse on tour through MTVU.

More info on Weezer's next album. See Weezer with Hugh Hefner here. WTF.

Apparently, Green Day taped all nine minutes of "Jesus of Suburbia" for Carson Daly. I want to see that. Anyone?

The Scottish Triptych festival will feature headliners LCD Soundsystem and the band whose vocalist the most prominently ape, The Fall.
