DUAL AT DUSK

It took a few years, but "NYC power couple" Mommy and Daddy release their first proper full-length in the U.S. today. Duel At Dawn is out on one of my fav NYC labels, Kanine.

I've talked about M+D on here before, but if you neglected to check them out (or read some bullshit bad reviews (or ignored all the good ones)), here's a refresher: Vivian and Edmond rock electro punk like the world is going to end tomorrow. Every song is a SOVIETPANDA winner due to aural-deth fuzzed out bass lines, hard hitting drum machines and synths, and catchy inyrface hooks. They're quitting their day jobs on heading out on tour, so make sure to go out and get sweat on at their show.

Check out the sexy (ew, but it's Mom and Dad!) video for "Franconia Road". There's also music and links online at their too cute e-card. I'm just glad they're finally getting a full LP released state-side. Nice job 'rents.
