SHITTY FUTURE

I FUCKING LOVE THE BRONX. This band crept on me out of nowhere with their first album and I love them. I love how I would never listen to any of the bands they usually get lumped in with. I love how on their AMG page all it says under "Influenced By" is The Stooges. I love how when I start listening to them I can't listen to anything else for days. Nothing else simlutaneously hits this hard, sounds this smart, and gets stuck in my head this bad.


In some fluke browsing today I encountered a ton of new music that I didn't even know was released and/or planned, and I was extremely fucking happy to find the Bronx's second self-titled album/major-label debut. FUCK YES IT ROCKS. "Shitty Future" is up for download courtesy the band (GET IT).

CD out 7/18. One more thing I love: Hot Snakes are gone (and I never got to see them) but this album is coming out on vinyl on 6/20 on Swami Records. And the Bronx is way into that. Fuck yeah.
