I was in Montreal last weekend, buying tight pants on Saint Catherine's, not-seeing both Man In Gray and Lovely Feathers in concert, and celebrating my genes' tendency towards longevity.
While I was out of the country, two French robotic angels touched down in the California desert, preaching electronic redemption from the peak of a monolithic pyramid.

Everything I heard about Daft Punk's set at Coachella has basically said that it was life changing. You can watch a portion of it on the videos attendees are uploading... not the same.
If someone has $250 to try and cheer me up, you could buy me Daft Punk action figures. Maybe they'll come out with a matching doll HOUSE. Hah.
At least there will be some forthcoming Daft Punk output that those of us not in California can enjoy, in the form of another film, entitled Electroma. It looks something like the Juan Maclean making a video for a Moroder track. Or just the best movie of all time.
More stills from the film here, plus some press-release information (if you can read French).
Mark my words. If Daft Punk ever plays another US show, I will be there.
