TV on the Radio's new LP Desperate Youth and Blood Thirsty Babes comes out on Tuesday, March 9, on Touch and Go. Should be MOTHERTRUCKIN AWESOME. Spring tour and SXSW announcements soon. Also, David Andrew Sitek (producer/guitarist) has a blog. DAS, you're weirding me out. Keep up the good work.
The Wrens are on tour (there are two Chicago shows now, but both are sold out).
British Sea Power is on tour.
The Walkmen are awesome.
Ratatat is awesome (download "17 Years" here).
The FREAKING GOSSIP is on tour. I WILL be coming back to Chicago for that show. Hopefully.
Emily points out that Gogogo Airheart is on tour. They hit the Fireside on Thursday, March 4 at 8PM. We'll see about that one.
