A couple new releases worth checking out today:
Dangerous Dreams, Moving Units. Dance-punk distilled to it's purest, funkiest form. This one's been a long time coming. I'm going to pick it up on vinyl when I find it.
Aghast Agape, Prosaics. This ones been an even longer time coming. I have yet to hear it, or find it at a record store.
New Health Rock, TV on the Radio. I just went out and picked this up. It's about four bucks, and worth the cash. New single "New Health Rock" really rocks, "The Wrong Way" is one of my favorites from the album, and the YYYs cover "Modern Romance" is pretty cool. My neighboors seem to like it. I mean, why else would they be pounding on my wall?

Pitchfork reviews the Faint remix of "Y-Control".
And a bit late to the bandwagon, they love Death From Above 1979. How many times can I plug this band? Just download "Romantic Rights" already.
The forthcoming DFA Compilation #2 has leaked to Soulseek. It's the fucking shit. Details here.
There is a Cat Power documentary coming out as a CD/DVD package at the end of the month.
Also, 2004 Favorites have been updated after a while. Check 'em out at the top of the site, and email me if you have any questions or shit.
