I LOVE FILLER

I'm working on a few year-end lists, but I feel the need to post something here now. I just sent in my lists for the ILM 2005 Poll, so I might as well post those here.

I'm not going to give any explanations yet, but keep in mind that some of my rankings were politically motivated, as in what I think will get fewer votes might have been placed higher. This was really tough, especially since remixes count seperately from original mixes, and I know a lot of vote splitting is going on (i.e. one artist might receive the most votes for singles, but since they're spread over so many different songs the artist might not even make the list).

I think I'm already regretting some of the songs and albums I left off. That said, here is how I voted:

As far as New Year's is concerned, I don't make resolutions. Although I will do my best to not start my year-end music lists until December of 2006 (as opposed to 2005, when I started keeping track in January - damn you OCD).

I unfortunately missed The Juan Maclean show at the Empty Bottle last night, which is sad, but I had a fun night anyway.

Also, I'm seeing the Strokes on Tuesday. 900 tickets were sold for this show. More on that later.
