-Frere-Jones' thoughts on the album in the New Yorker. He makes an extremely valid point about the band's live presence being a much bigger part of the album, which has helped me like it more.
-The album's Metacritic entry. Sound of Silver is currently #1 for the year, ahead of any album by 3 points, and most of the reviews have already been published. Yow. It also might be the first time I've ever seen the user score actually lower than the critic score.
