Cut Copy and the Presets, both on Australia's hottest record label Modular, are two of the biggest electronic/dance acts in the world right now, and two of my favorites. The Presets have hit their stride with the muscular electro pop anthems on their second album, Apocalypso, and having seen them five times, I can guarantee they put on an amazing show. Cut Copy have probably made the album of the year, In Ghost Colours, thanks to producer Tim Goldworthy (from DFA). Each could easily headline this show on their own, but they've teamed up for one of the best tour line-ups in recent memory.
The tour hits the Fineline tomorrow, with Kordan from NYC opening the show. I'll be keeping the party going and spinning in between bands. Another don't-miss show.
