TAKE OFF YR CLOTHES

Last night was the first time in a few years that I've actually sat down and watched the MTV VMAs.

I feel so much stupider.

The VMAs was the culmination of everything utterly retarded in pop culture for the last year into one giant, moronic, gaudy orgy of stupidity. (If you missed it, try FluxBlog's play-by-play live coverage.)

That said... there was this commercial for the new season of the Real World that I really liked. It used Morningwood's excellent track, "Take Off Your Clothes." (The name pretty much explains the whole song.) Download it and check out their site, it's pretty hot.

Also Kanye West's performance was pretty tight, especially when Chaka Khan came on to do the intro for "Through The Wire". And Jay-Z and Beyonce saying hi to each other on stage was amazing.

Puff Daddy had a diamond encrusted iPod made for him for the VMAs.

Domino USA is rereleasing the Junior Boys LP Last Exit. It was previously on some really random small label. Now it will be on 2xCD and 2xLP, which I assume means some bonus material. Nice.
